Maurice Rinaldi
is an international fashion photographer who has been shooting beautiful
women for 30 years. Born in Italy and raised in Australia, Rinaldi
studies his art under such legendary photographers as Helmut Newton,
Norman Parkinson and Henry Talbort. These days he has a studio in
Hollywood California, but travels the world on assignments, photographing
fashion, collections, and celebrities. His credits appear in all
the top women's and fashion magazines, including Vogue, Harpers's
Bazaar, Elle, Linea Italiana, and the list goes on
For Lillian Muller's debut
calendar, Rinaldi decided to create a brilliant photographic homage
to the extraordinary art of the pin-up photographers of the 70's.
In fact, all the photographs here were produced with 1970 photographic
equipment. A Hasselbald 500C and Nikon Ftn were used to capture
just that special quality of light and focus which are such a
necessary part of the 70's aesthetic. Of course, having Lillian
Muller's exceptional body and sensuality as an inspiration could
not have taken a photographer of Rinaldi's quality, perception,
and artistry anywhere else. Email MAURICE
